All said and done, in my humble opinion, finally EVs would have to be free of the requirement of charging their Batteries - no matter how efficient they are or how much Energy Density they pack when charged.

Logic behind what said is that no matter what type of and how efficient EV Batteries become, a catestrophy like what occurred in Texas recently will find EVs unreliable.

I have no ready answer about what ultimate shape will EVs take - may be Hydrogen Fuel Cell becomes the finalist or there may be yet another better alternatiive in the offing.
