Thanks fir the very factual article. May I add that other than ‘teaching’ and ‘educating’ there is something’s called ‘learning’ and ‘understanding’.
My age is 80+ and my observation since my days in school is that our teaching system doesn’t facilitate ‘learning’ and ‘understanding’.
Urgent action is required to modify schools to become centres of ‘learning’ and ‘understanding’.
